World-wide known is the notion of Francofony. A type of French Commonwealth. And it has its most “influence” in Africa, centre of the French politic on Earth, with other nations in the world. Ivory Coast is a paradigmatic example of this kind of Foreign French policies issues and relationship. So, at this moment we must think not only in the particular reasons why this case explodes now, instead of also thinking in the motives of the rise of this crisis on this moment of modern history.

Ivory Coast was a French colony until the early 60’s in XX Century. After that the relationship with the former Emperor was very close and strong. Even at the times when the local economy was so weak. Even at those days when the nation is the most important exporter of cocoa. But France made possible one important thing. The so called ACP treaties with the European Communities in the 70’s. It assures a minimum price to the prime materials that sells the former British, French and other European former colonies through an association. It is an interesting form of relationship.

Today is the day when the African nation is divided. Because a rebellion. And the United Nations Interposition Forces are an obstacle to “close” the increasing civil war. And today is the day when, after that act of war when two military aircrats bombed the French Forces, the proper presence of France over there is questioned…

Let me say you one little thing: We are being manipulated to go forward to that direction. The French Iraq, they say to us. Some one interested in the weakness of France in the Region is imposing his vision. Who? The NeoCons. United States. No doubt that when the French Forces withdrawn Africa, the United States Forces will replace that. I am not interested in Imperialism. And I am not defending the French interventionism in his sphere of influence: Africa. But I say you clearly that this interest is not ethic or altruistic: it has an special message after his face: United States power in Africa

There has been other similar situations in other nations former colonies (including United Kingdom, like Sierra Leona or Rwanda, or the proper United States of America with the partnership of Liberia). Why this is different? And in the days when the French Forces are United Nations Forces and has been attacked… They are not the aggressors. Why?

Think. Why can it explode now? Because of Iraqi war. Who leaded the Anti war movement? So the United States and the NeoCons, at this moment, when the reelection won, have the time to defeat and get the decrease of its “enemy” power. Its war. And we have to choose. Europe or United States. Muslims are only an excuse. That’s the real Third World War. Look forward and realise that the time to make the strategic decision is now. The future can pass through our hands if we make it possible. The Union. European Union can (and it will) make possible that other possible world.

Problems, crisis and civil war on Ivory Coast? Let’s make a correct local diagnostic about it. Poverty in Ivory Coast? Let’s make a plan to co-operation an local improvement of economics. Lets help them all we can. But don’t be fool. Don’t follow the Mass media with this contaminated message. It serves to the Empire. Think. And the most important thing in this world. What we are. Europeans. France is in Europe. United States not. Ivory Coast is not Iraq. Nor Vietnam. And France is even not there as France, instead of United Nations. So, finally, resolution, yes. French weakness for other nations fortress, no. Withdrawn? Never by Force, conspiration or coercion.

Union in Diversity. European Union. Another view of the World. Why not, United States?
