[ # ] US Congress
Enero 3rd, 2007 under International

In November 2006 democrats won the congressional elections. Congress and senate are now blue colored and the donkey will rule, at least, 2 years. Nancy Pelosi, from California, will be the Speaker of the House of representatives. The third person on the succession line. If President dies and Vice-President resigns Pelosi shall be the President of the United States of America.

1994, November. Newt Gingrich won with the republican party the midterm elections with his “Contract with America” in a democratic mandate of William Jefferson Clinton. Republicans defended their majority on the next 12 years elections. But everything changed with the arrival to the DNC of a new chairman: the democratic governor of Vermont since 1994 to 2003 Howard Dean. He rebuilt the party into a 50 states party. He considered a party unified instead of 50 federated parties. Reaching to every voter, making contact from up to down and from down to top he made possible the progress revolution in a republican mandate of George W. Bush.

At this moments the looser starts talking about bipartisan cooperation. Make differences get smaller and collaborate for a common objective. It is a false argument. Because if the American people elected the democratic candidates was in order to defend a progress program. A social contract with Americans. For mothers, fathers, grandparents and children. A majority wants democrats for making democratic politics.

November 2008 is the target for them. Recover the White House. Who knows if New York Senator Hillary Clinton, Illinois Senator Obama, Former Congressman and Senator from Tennessee and US Vice-President and presidential candidate in 2000 Al Gore, Massachusetts Senator and 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, former North Carolina Senator and vice presidential candidate in 2004 or any other shall be the democratic candidate in the Denver (Colorado) Democratic National Convention (August 2008).

By the moment democrats will rule the congress and will put in difficulties the president George W. Bush. So I hope. The rest remains in future.
